Conflict of Interest Policy

Ensuring CTCA decisions are made solely in the best interests of the trading card industry — by requiring disclosure, recusal, and independent decision-making whenever personal or business interests intersect with the Association's work.

Policy Provisions

Thirteen Sections

The Certified Trading Card Association ("CTCA") is committed to operating with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and fairness. Because the CTCA brings together collectors, dealers, manufacturers, grading companies, auction houses, breakers, technology providers, distributors, retailers, and other industry stakeholders, situations may arise where personal or business interests intersect with the interests of the Association.

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Protect the integrity of CTCA decision-making.
  • Preserve public confidence in the Association.
  • Ensure decisions are made solely in the best interests of the trading card industry.
  • Prevent actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.

Appendix

Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement

I acknowledge that I have received and reviewed the CTCA Conflict of Interest Policy.

To the best of my knowledge:

I have the following actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest:

I agree to:

  • Act in the best interests of the CTCA.
  • Promptly disclose future conflicts.
  • Recuse myself when appropriate.
  • Protect confidential CTCA information.
  • Comply with this policy.
